so last night i went to see gin wigmore at the municipal theatre - part of her nation wide holy smoke tour and she was amazing. threw roses out to the crowd, drinking red wine on stage and jamming it out on her uke. not many artists come to my area so i just went for the sake of it basically and by the end of the night i had fallen in love with her. would definitely see her again, without a doubt!

~ going to the airport now to pick up my father and my cameraaaaa! so happy. oh he is also bringing back seasons one and two of gossip girl and also seasons one, two and three of skins. yuss, i think its time for some skins and gossip girl marathons! last week i came across a sweet shop in napier called aroha lamour, its been there for five years and i havent heard of it at all. yeah so i came across this sweet bag on their shop blog by company of strangers. its all been d.i.y'ed with second hand pieces. i like, definitely some inspiration!

so i couldn't leave without purchasing anything, so i got this image printed onto a grey hoodie, i got a size too big but its still cooler than ever. wasn't expensive either, win! i'll definitely be back there soon for a new one next season.

today is sunday, it is the last day before my sisters are being shipped off to university. im not sad and all that soppy suff, actually i'm jumping for joy since they arent anything but mean, bossy and annoying...arent all siblings like that? what makes is worse is that there are two of them, both with the same 'bitch factor' - yes, they're twins. so that means i won't be on here for a week since im staying at some cool kids place who's name is bryony! its going to be a fffffffab last week of the summer holidays!

and yesterday, my dad picked up my new baby, a sony a700! might be a few weeks till i get it but im sooo excited to try it out. im taking photography this year and its a bit too technical for me they say, so ill have to get another digital slr through school so ill have TWO! yeah, yeah i'm rambling but i'm excited..can't you tell? thats my cue to leave, have a good week x
